Atlanta Berean encourages its members to share the love of Christ with the Atlanta community through volunteerism, evangelism, and ministry. Regardless of your interests, spiritual gifts or talents, there is a place for you.


Berean Outreach Ministry Center (BOMC) is a day center, serving the basic needs of the Atlanta community. The BOMC provides meals and clothing services to approximately 400 people each day.

Accomplishments

  • – Fed approximately 800 families per week.
  • – Distributed more than 20,000 lbs of food each week.
  • – Distributed 1.2 Million pounds of food to Atlanta community for the entire year.
  • – Featured in a Dec 2012 ABC News documentary that was done here in Atlanta for national showing.
  • – Featured in a North American Division article / video for the success of the program as a model throughout the country.
  • – Adopted feeding refugees from Burma who are now located in Stockton, GA.
  • – Planned distribution of 100 mattresses for these refuges (most of which are Seventh-day Adventist Christians).

 

The Berean Community Services resides under the Berean Outreach Ministries Center which is headed by Allyson Dozier, Executive Director. Hundreds of individuals have accepted Christ and been baptized due to the ministry of the Berean Community Services.
