Berean SDA Church encourages its members to share the love of Christ with the Atlanta community through volunteerism, evangelism, and ministry. Regardless of your interests, spiritual gifts or talents, there is a place for you.
Berean Outreach Ministry Center is a day center, serving the basic needs of the Atlanta community. Providing meals and clothing services to approximately 250 people each day.
Accomplishments
- It feeds approximately 800 families per week.
- Distributed more than 20,000 lbs of food each week.
- Distributed 1.2 million pounds of food to the Atlanta community for the entire year.
- Featured in a Dec 2012 ABC News documentary that was done here in Atlanta for national showing.
- Featured in a North American Division article/video for the success of the program as a model throughout the country.
- Adopted feeding refugees from Burma who are now located in Stockton, GA.
- The planned distribution of 100 mattresses for these refuges (most of which are Seventh-day Adventist Christians).
Hundreds of individuals have accepted Christ and been baptized due to the ministry of the Berean Outreach Ministry Center.
