Happy New Year Berean Family.

On behalf of the Family Life Department, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family all the best for the new year. We are thankful that God has taken us through another year of life. Despite the pandemic, we can join Paul in saying: “We were troubled on every side, yet not distressed, perplexed but not in despair…cast down but not destroyed.” 2 Cor 4:8-9

Our families have undoubtedly been tried and tested during this past year. Many families have experienced loss of a love one, loss of income or even loss of their homes. Through it all, our families demonstrated a resilience and, in many situations, have drawn closer to each other and have experienced a greater appreciation for the simpler things in life. For families still in the battle, be strong and rely on God, you are overcomers through Him.
God designed the family to be the building blocks of the church, of the society and of the nation. As we accept this responsibility as families, we should each day connect with God in prayer and make the old adage true, “the family that prays together, stays together.” Ellen G. White reminds us that “There is a sacred circle around every family which should be preserved.”

God has always held the family in high esteem and His plan has always been for families to prosper and flourish. In Genesis, He instructs us to be fruitful and multiply.

In 2022, may we multiply spiritually, physically, mentally, socially and financially and be families that live in the harmonious will of God.
