PASTORAL COUNSELING
We all face challenging circumstances, relational pain, and encounter seasonal storms in our lives. Everyone needs help at one time or another. Berean’s Pastoral Counseling Team will listen to your story and help you find God’s loving care in the midst of your situation as we help you choose next steps in moving forward. While many situations can be facilitated through our pastoral staff, some require ongoing therapy. We understand that finding a therapist can be an overwhelming task, so our team is available to help you find the best professional to fit your circumstances. RECOVERY AND TRAUMA
In Berean’s Healing Prayer ministry, we desire to see the healing presence and power of Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit renew minds, proclaim freedom to captives, release prisoners from darkness, and restore the broken places in people’s hearts. It is a time designed to remove blocks that hinder people’s ability to hear God’s voice. Partnering with the Holy Spirit, we encourage and equip people with scripturally sound tools for living in continued freedom and liberty. With an increased connection, each person will be better able to grow in your relationship with God. Sessions are relaxed, private, confidential, and always honoring.
“Free Forever” is a recovery group that provides a safe place for people to take an honest look at their experience and struggle with any addiction (drugs, alcohol, codependency, food, gambling, pornography, etc.). This is a Christ-centered, step-based group that meets weekly to support one another and to study God’s Word to discover how it applies to the 12 steps. This group is for all individuals and families who want to break the chains of addition and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Disheartening numbers of women have undergone an abortion and they need help to heal emotionally and spiritually. Forgiven and Set Free guides women to bring their emotional scars from abortion “out of the dark past and into His holy light,” where true and lasting healing can take place. This Biblical study helps women deal with issues such as denial, anger, forgiveness, depression, letting go, and acceptance. THIS IS A COMPASSIONATE AND CONFIDENTIAL GROUP.
